Checklist - Steps to take before giving your first assignment

Follow

Before you create and assign your first assignment (full of rich assessment questions) you want to make sure you have this checklist complete:

  1. Your class is brand new and not a mock class you used to test the digital assessment waters. *Edulastic gives you a Demo Class to practice with: Using Edulastic's Demo Class.
  2. Make sure your grade level, subject, and school/district is set correctly by checking Manage Class.
  3. Make sure ALL of your students are signed up and visible in your class roster under Manage Class. *Your roster should be populated BEFORE you assign your first assignment.
  4. Never leave any mock student in your class when assigning any assessment (this will cause mastery reporting and grade release problems since they won't be doing any work).
