Students using iPads often report getting a blank screen when they click on the assignment link in Google Classroom.
Please try the following steps to rectify this problem:
1. Sign in using your Safari browser (NOT Chrome browser).
2. If the Google Classroom app was downloaded from iTunes, the app launches it in Chrome by default. To make the app work, please follow these steps:
a. Tap on the Menu bar (three horizontal lines) in the Google Classroom app.
b. Click on Settings at the bottom of the navigational panel.
c. Disable the “Open links with Chrome” switch
d. Click on "DONE"
Performing the above steps will help students take/access the assignment on Google Classroom hassle free.
